Dog Obedience Training

In-House Training

At Pets Country Club, we are proud to offer tailored dog training solutions designed to support better behaviour, stronger communication, and a more enjoyable relationship between you and your dog.
 

All training is conducted by our professional in-house trainer, one of Victoria’s most experienced handlers, with over 30 years of experience working with a wide variety of behaviours, our training programs provide practical, lasting results.
 

Three-Week Boarding & Training Program

From $1,767.25
(Includes 21 days boarding in a Private Classic Suite, 15 one-on-one training sessions, 6 complimentary play sessions, and a bath)
 

Our most comprehensive training package allows your dog to receive structured, one-on-one obedience training while enjoying a premium boarding experience and care.
 

Program Inclusions:

  • Introductory consultation to identify your dog’s behavioural goals

  • 21 days of accommodation in the suite of your choice (includes all standard Pets Country Club services)

  • Approximately 15 individualised obedience training sessions (charged at $50 per completed session)

  • Six complimentary additional 'Yappy Hour’ plays for rest and socialisation on non-training days

  • Bath and grooming service prior to departure

  • Personalised handover lesson with you at the end of the program to review commands, hand signals, and reinforce best practices

  • One complimentary brush-up session valid for up to three months after completion

  • Detailed course notes for your reference at home

 

Common Training Areas:

  • Walking on lead

  • Sit, stay, drop, recall

  • Socialisation with people and dogs

  • Problem behaviours such as jumping up, pulling on lead, or lack of focus

This program is best suited to adolescent and adult dogs with some prior training or behaviour that requires reinforcement or refinement.
 

Additional Training Services

We also offer flexible training options for dogs not enrolled in extended accommodation programs:
 

Day Care + Training Session – $85 per day

Your dog will enjoy a full day of structured Day Care, including a private training session with our professional trainer. Ideal for ongoing support or casual learning.
 

Half-Day Day Care + Private Training Session - $60 per session
Your pet works directly with our trainer in a focused, private session. Ideal for ongoing support or casual learning. Please note: Day Care is not included.
 

One-on-One Training Lessons – $60 per session

Held at Pets Country Club, these one-on-one training sessions are perfect for owners wanting to learn and focus on specific behavioural concerns or strengthen obedience skills. Each session is a private 1-hour appointment with our experienced trainer.
